About this product
The Faithfull Plumber's Soldering Pad (195 x 300mm) is a heavy-duty, asbestos-free protective heat pad for plumbing, brazing and soft soldering work. It protects surfaces from burn marks and heat damage during professional applications, and is suitable for use with Butane, Propane and MAPP gas, withstanding temperatures up to 1,200°C. The pad has a white heat-facing side that should always be positioned towards the heat source, avoiding prolonged direct flame contact. If the pad's surface begins to glow, it should be repositioned so the flame moves to an unheated area. Reinforced edging adds durability, while the reverse side is easy to wipe clean.
