Faithfull Plastic Mitre Box with Pegs 310mm (12.1/4in) FAIMBP

This Faithfull mitre box is a cutting guide for use with a tenon saw, designed to produce accurate mitred and straight joints in materials such as skirting boards, architraves, picture frames and timber mouldings. It is made from high-impact polystyrene plastic and measures 310 x 170 x 100mm overall, accommodating workpieces up to 75mm deep and 120mm wide.

Guide slots are provided at 22.5°, 45° and 90°, along with a dedicated 45° compound cut slot for more complex joinery. Two cam locking pegs hold the workpiece securely in place while cutting, and a bench edge stop on the base helps prevent movement during sawing. Countersunk fastening holes are included so the box can be fixed permanently to a workbench for added stability if required.
