About this product
The Faithfull No.10 bench rebate plane is a traditional cast iron hand plane for cleaning up wide rebates, shoulders and large joints in general bench joinery. It has a full-width cutter, making it suitable for use on both hardwoods and softwoods. The grey cast iron body offers strength and stability, with a precision ground base and sides for flatness and squareness. Machined blade seating eliminates movement and blade judder for consistent results, while the lever cap's brass locking screw secures the blade assembly and allows easy release for sharpening. A hardwood handle and knob provide comfortable grip, and all parts are precision machined for accurate adjustment. Cutter width is 50mm, with an overall length of 330mm.
