About this product
The Faithfull No.60 1/2 Block Plane is a compact hand plane designed for single-handed use, particularly effective on end grain and plastic laminates. The plane iron is set at a low 13.5° angle, which suits end grain work where steeper angles can cause tearing or splitting.
The mouth is fully adjustable, opening wide for coarse stock removal or closing narrow for fine shavings on awkward grain. With an overall length of 160mm and a cutter width of 35mm, it is suited to tasks such as trimming doors, chamfering edges and general joinery work in confined spaces.
