About this product
This automatic wire stripper clamps and strips insulated cable in a single action, suited to electricians and contractors carrying out repetitive wiring tasks. The steel blades are hardened to 53HRC for a long working life and offer five pre-set cable diameters, covering wire sizes from 1.0mm to 3.2mm (AWG 18/14/12/10/8), so there is no need for manual adjustment between common gauges. An adjustable length guide lets the stripping length be set anywhere from 5mm to 32mm, giving consistent results across multiple connections, useful for control panel wiring and lighting installations. The tool is not insulated, so any wire should be isolated from an electrical source before use.
