About this product
This Faithfull Combination Gauge is a marking tool for joinery and woodworking layout, made from hardwood with brass facing plates and fittings for durability. It is used for laying out mortices and marking with the grain. A nylon friction pad sits beneath the knurled brass thumbscrew, reducing wear to the stem and allowing smooth, secure and accurate setting. The gauge has two pins: one for general marking and a second, adjustable via the screwslide mechanism, specifically for setting mortice widths without needing separate tools.
