About this product
This Faithfull workbench vice has a 175mm (7in) jaw width, making it suitable for both home handyman use and more demanding woodworking tasks. It is built from grey iron castings machined to close tolerances, giving a smoothly operating sliding jaw.
The main screw uses an Acme thread for rapid jaw action, with a toe-in function that applies even pressure across the workpiece as it is clamped. Wooden jaws can be fitted to protect both the work and the vice itself.
Finished in blue enamel with a chrome-plated main screw and handle for corrosion resistance. Clamping capacity is 185mm (7.1/4in), throat depth 65mm (2.1/2in), tommy bar length 150mm (6in), and weight 3.157kg (7lbs).
