About this product
The Hultafors OGC r8 is a curved carving gouge, sharpened on the outside of the blade to give a perfect 8mm radius in a single stroke. It is designed for precision woodworking, particularly for cutting cable ditches in timber such as door frames, skirting boards and other framework. The blade is made from Japanese steel, offering good sharpness and edge retention, while the heavy-duty handle is built to withstand repeated hammer blows without splitting. Overall length is 232mm. The gouge comes supplied with a holster for belt mounting, keeping it safely accessible on site.
