The ITL Insulated Flat Rasp is a wood rasp designed for turning down material, built for use in live line working environments. It is manufactured from injection moulded nylon 11, giving it insulation that exceeds the requirements of IEC 60900, the industry standard for work on or near live electrical equipment. The rasp meets Category 'C' certification, allowing it to perform at extreme temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. This construction is described as virtually indestructible, offering durable performance in demanding trade conditions, and both the tool and its insulation are covered by a lifetime warranty.
