The Knipex 13 86 VDE Insulated Electrical Installation Pliers are professional-grade multifunctional pliers designed specifically for electrical installation work. This 6-in-1 tool combines gripping, bending, deburring, cutting, stripping and crimping functions in a single compact plier, making it an essential addition to any electrician's toolkit. Built with smooth surfaces near the tips to grip single cores without causing damage, these pliers also feature serrated gripping surfaces and a pipe grip for handling both flat and round materials. The clear-cut outside edge on the gripping surfaces is particularly useful for working on flush-mounted junction boxes and deburring feed-through holes in electrical installations. The integrated cable shears feature induction-hardened precision cutting edges capable of cutting copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm² or Ø 15 mm diameter. Dedicated stripping holes accommodate conductors of 0.75 - 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm², whilst the crimping die handles wire ferrules from 0.5 - 2.5 mm². The slim profile ensures easy access in confined spaces, and the bolted joint delivers precise, zero-backlash operation for reliable performance. VDE-tested to 1000 volts, these pliers meet stringent safety standards for live electrical work, providing peace of mind when working on domestic and commercial installations.
