About this product
These 200mm bent snipe nose side cutting pliers from Knipex are designed for electrical work and detailed wire manipulation in confined spaces, such as computers, circuitry or motor vehicle applications. The jaws are angled at 40°, giving good access to awkward areas while keeping the workpiece visible.
Made from forged, multi-stage oil-hardened vanadium electric steel with a chrome-plated finish, the half-round, long, tapered jaws have elastic precision tips that stay dimensionally stable under twisting and feature knurled gripping surfaces. Cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 61 HRC and can cut medium-hard wire up to 3.2mm and hard wire up to 2.2mm diameter.
Fitted with multi-component grips, the pliers are VDE tested to 10,000V and safe for use on live work up to 1,000V, conforming to DIN EN/IEC 60900.
