About this product
These 250mm high leverage concreter's nippers from Knipex are designed for lacing concrete reinforcing steel with binding wire from a roll, twisting and cutting the wire in a single pass. Their extra-slim form suits tying deep-mounted steel rods, and the high-leverage joint means around 25% less effort is needed compared with conventional nippers of the same size. Made from forged, multi-stage oil-hardened special tool steel, they are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Cutting edges are additionally hardened to approximately 61 HRC. Wire cutting capacity is 1.8mm for hard wire and 3.3mm for medium-hard wire, with a head width of 25mm. High damping of the cutting stroke after cutting reduces strain on tendons and muscles. Weight is approximately 350g, supplied on hang tab/blister packaging.
