About this product
This 18 x 4½in (460 x 115mm) cement finishing trowel is suited to large-scale concrete and plaster finishing, giving good reach and coverage for professionals working on extensive surfaces. The blade is cross-ground to hold its shape under intensive use.
The aluminium alloy mounting is fully heat-treated for strength and machine-finished for a precise handle fit. The Diamond Shank fits exactly into the square hole of the curved bass wood handle, preventing turning during use.
The blade is attached to the mounting with properly sized, computer-fitted hardened steel rivets rather than welding, avoiding the embrittlement that can cause premature failure. An extra-large toe rivet adds reinforcement at this stress point.
