About this product
The Monument 131W is a socket forming tool for 15mm copper pipe, suitable for domestic plumbing work such as basin feeds, radiator connections and central heating pipework. It allows two pieces of 15mm copper pipe of equal diameter to be joined together without using separate fittings.
The tool has a loose former design, allowing easier withdrawal after forming the socket and helping to avoid distortion of the joint. The resulting capillary joint can be finished by either soft or hard soldering, and the tool is built for trade use.
