About this product
This Monument drain test plug is designed for blocking off small to medium pipes, such as copper, during dry testing prior to commissioning. It suits a diameter range of 37-45mm and is aimed at professional tradespeople carrying out repair or testing work. The plug features a flexible rubber cone that expands when the wing nut knob is turned, pressing the cone outward to create a watertight seal against the pipe or tube end. It comes fitted with removable top caps and rubber rings. It has a maximum allowable back pressure of 60psi (4bar) and is intended for dry testing only; it cannot be used for air testing purposes by itself.
