About this product
This 10-piece Monument Stiffnuts Pro Kit is a tap installation and removal system for plumbers working on 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch BSP taps, particularly in confined or awkward spaces. It tackles seized or stubborn backnuts by using the mechanical advantage of the tap tail's thread, breaking free fixings that conventional spanners cannot reach. The tool stays securely positioned on the tap tail, allowing one-handed use while the other hand supports the tap. The boxed kit includes a 3/8-inch cordless drill adaptor for powered operation, a 1/2-inch square drive for ratchet use, and an extension tube for extra reach in recessed installations. It covers common UK backnut sizes: 25mm, 27mm, 29mm ribbed and 32mm. Full user instructions are supplied.
