About this product
The Monument 2355M OMAT® Soldering Mat is a patented cut-out mat designed for soldering copper pipes from 15-22mm in diameter. Its unique shape, with an overlap, wraps completely around the pipe for a tight, secure fit, giving more thorough protection to surrounding surfaces than a conventional flat mat, and reducing the risk of fire during soldering work.
At 300mm x 300mm, this is the largest size in the range, suited to extensive pipework or where extra coverage is needed around multiple joints, including in confined spaces near flammable materials.
It is made from woven glass fabric, free from asbestos, stitched all around, and resistant to temperatures up to 600°C. It is made in Britain.
