About this product
The Monument 2361F OMAT® Soldering Mat is a 250mm x 250mm mat designed for soldering copper pipes from 15-22mm in diameter. Its patented cut-out shape wraps around the pipe with an overlap for a tight, secure fit, giving all-round protection to surrounding surfaces rather than the flat coverage of conventional mats.
It is made from woven glass fabric, avoiding the hazards associated with asbestos materials, and is stitched all around for durability. The mat resists temperatures up to 600°C, reducing the risk of fire during soldering work. It is made in Britain and suits standard plumbing installations and everyday soldering tasks.
