About this product
The Moore & Wright 1965M is a traditional external micrometer for accurate measurement of workpieces up to 25mm, with a graduation of 0.01mm. It features a blue textured tapered bow frame with tungsten carbide measuring faces for wear resistance, and a 6.5mm spindle diameter for durability. A 'speeder' type ratchet allows quick spindle movement and consistent measuring pressure, while the locking lever secures readings and the adjusting key allows calibration. It is manufactured to BS870, DIN 863/1 and ISO 361 standards, with measuring face flatness of 0.001mm, parallelism of 0.003mm and accuracy of 0.003mm, giving a resolution of 0.001mm. Suitable for engineers, toolmakers and machinists, it is supplied in a plastic pocket case for storage and transport.
