About this product
The Multi-Sharp 3001 Wetstone is a water-cooled sharpener for chisels, plane blades and other workshop tools, powered by any electric drill. Recirculating water covers the grinding wheel to stop the edge overheating and losing its temper, allowing damaged blades to be sharpened quickly using the drill's torque. A precision clamp holds blades at 25, 30, 35 or 40 degrees for primary and secondary bevels, suiting firmer, bevel-edge and rebate chisels, and accepts blade widths from 10mm to 60mm. A tool rest with marked angles allows re-pointing of smaller tools such as cold chisels, bradawls, screwdrivers, centre-punches, scribers and carving or turning tools. A leather strop is included for removing burrs and finishing the edge after grinding.
