About this product
The Purdy Pro-Extra Monarch is a 40mm (1½ inch) paint brush suited to both general painting and more detailed work on walls and ceilings. It is designed to deliver 30% more paint than any other Purdy brush, giving good efficiency across a range of applications.
The brush uses a blend of Chinex, Tynex and Orel synthetic filaments, which are thicker to maximise pick-up of higher viscosity paints, making it particularly suited to thick oil-based formulations. It has a beavertail handle intended to reduce hand fatigue during use, and a round edge ferrule for smooth, consistent application.
