About this product
The Rapid RP110 Rivet Nut Pliers are a fixed-head tool for fastening materials together where there is no access to the rear to tighten a bolt. They insert M3, M4, M5 and M6 rivet nuts – internally threaded tubular rivets – into sheet metal, plastics and other thin materials. Once fitted, a screw can be inserted into the rivet nut's internal thread to join two materials securely, and unlike standard rivets, these can be removed again if needed, making them suited to fixtures that may require future maintenance. The pliers have a die-cast aluminium body with a forged steel lever, and hardened jaws intended to give a long working life. Soft-grip handles are fitted for comfort during use. Suited to metalworkers, fabricators and sheet metal contractors, as well as DIY tasks such as vehicle repairs and furniture assembly.
