About this product
The Ridgid No.1 Strap Wrench is designed for gripping and turning polished or finished pipework without causing surface damage, making it suitable for chrome, copper and other decorative pipe finishes where a traditional Stillson wrench would leave marks. It is useful for plumbers and heating engineers working on radiator valves, tap fittings and polished pipe installations. It has a cast-iron housing with an I-beam handle for strength, and a woven nylon strap that tightens around the pipe to give a secure grip. A version with a special strap for plastic pipe is also available. This 425mm wrench has a strap width of 12mm, a rated pipe capacity of 50mm and an actual outside diameter capacity of 90mm. It weighs 0.5kg.
