About this product
This Roughneck set combines a hardpoint tenon saw with a mitre box, suited to carpenters, joiners and DIY users tackling interior trim work such as picture frames, skirting boards, architraves and coving. The 300mm (12in) saw has 11 TPI and triple ground, heat-treated teeth for faster cutting and a longer-lasting edge, with an extra thick blade for rigidity. It suits hardwood, softwood, rough timber, board sheet, wooden worktops, floorboards, melamine and PVC. The handle is double injected for comfort and hand protection, and shaped with 90° and 45° markings for quick reference. The accompanying mitre box allows precise 90° and 45° cuts and takes workpieces up to 105mm wide and 55mm high. Its magnetic base holds the saw securely in place for storage, keeping the two components together as one system.
