About this product
The Stanley 1-15-122 Contractors Hacksaw is a 300mm (12in) hacksaw designed for cutting metal, including thin metal work. It has a solid steel frame for strength and long life, with an enclosed ribbed plastic shatterproof handle that gives a comfortable, secure grip during use. The saw is supplied with a high speed steel blade, offering sharpness and durability, with 24 teeth per inch suited to general metalwork. A square section at the end of the frame lets the blade be set in four different positions, making it possible to cut both vertically and horizontally, which is useful for awkward angles and confined spaces. A blade tension system allows quick fine adjustment to suit a range of cutting applications. The frame is finished in yellow lacquered steel with a rectangular section, and the moulded black handle is screwed on to give a secure bond with the blade.
