About this product
This Stanley 5-21-508 Surform blade is a 250mm (10 inch) replacement blade for shaping and smoothing soft metals and plastics, as well as materials such as wood, vinyl, plaster, thermalite blocks, fibreglass and linoleum. It suits trade tasks including trimming door edges, shaping plasterboard and smoothing fibreglass repairs, offering an aggressive cutting action for material removal while retaining control. It is designed to fit standard Surform holders, including the 21-122 file plane, 21-101 flat file, and the 21-107 and 21-103 planes, as well as the 21-295, 21-296 and 21-203, and any 250mm Surform frame. Blade width is given as either 42mm or 46mm depending on source.
