About this product
The Stanley FatMax 0-47-480 Chalk Line is a 30-metre (100ft) marking tool for construction, joinery and general trade use, aimed at achieving accurate straight lines on walls, floors and frameworks. It has a die-cast aluminium housing with a sliding door for refilling, and a patented chalk view window so remaining chalk is easy to check. The reel holds over 1.5oz of chalk and uses 50lb polyester/nylon twisted string for abrasion resistance. A 5:1 gear ratio allows quick rewinding, and a release button lets the line extend without turning the handle. The hook grabs from the side, top or bottom for versatile use, and the tool can also be used vertically as a plumb bob. Other features include a steel crank handle, integrated belt clip and on-board hook storage.
