About this product
The Stanley FatMax Hacksaw is a 300mm hand saw for metalwork, pipework and general construction tasks. It has a die-cast aluminium body that keeps it lightweight yet strong for prolonged use on site. The handle combines a bi-material soft grip for comfort with a thumb grip for more accurate, controlled cutting. An adjustable thumb dial tension mechanism inside the handle is spring-loaded, giving up to 150kg of blade tension for reliable performance. It is supplied with a bi-metal blade rated at 24 teeth per inch, suited to cutting steel, copper and other metals. Cutting capacity is 12cm (5in).
