About this product
The Thor Polyex Mallet is a heavy-duty plastic mallet with an 80mm diameter head weighing 950g, suited to demanding tasks requiring substantial impact force alongside non-marking performance. The head is made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE), giving strong resistance to fracturing, splintering, delamination, chemicals and corrosion.
It is fitted with an anti-vibration wooden handle, made from hardwood, which reduces recoil and helps with comfort and control during heavy striking work. The handle measures 380mm in length.
Suited to large assembly work, heavy component fitting and industrial maintenance, and recommended for automotive, marine, offshore and general engineering workshops where powerful, non-marking strikes are needed.
