About this product
The DeWalt DCE530 is a cordless heat gun powered by an 18v (or 54v Flexvolt) XR battery, allowing use away from mains power. It suits tasks such as paint stripping, loosening nuts and bolts, thawing frozen pipes, bending PVC, shrinking electrical tubing, drying materials, shrinkwrapping and removing labels.
It delivers hot air at 290°C or 530°C, with airflow of 109-190 l/min, selected via an adjustable slider switch for high or low settings. The trigger can be locked on for hands-free use and comfort, while a lock-off safety switch guards against accidental activation during transport or storage.
Compact and lightweight at 0.5kg excluding battery, it measures 160mm x 55mm x 200mm and includes a base-mounted LED worklight and side-facing air vents. Supplied with a reflector nozzle and a surface nozzle, but no battery, charger or case.
