About this product
The Makita DUN500WZ is a cordless brushless pole hedge trimmer designed for cutting tall and long hedges, built on the 18V LXT battery platform shared with other Makita LXT tools. It has a 500mm blade with curved, triple-edged cutting teeth to help catch and hold twigs and branches, and an adjustable head offering six angle settings through 115 degrees, tilting up to 45 degrees and down to 70 degrees from horizontal. The head folds 180 degrees for transport and storage.
Controls include three speed settings, constant speed control, a reverse switch and an electric brake for consistent performance and safety. An automatic off function switches the tool off if left unused for a period. Supplied as a bare unit with a blade cover and shoulder harness, without battery or charger.
