About this product

This FatMax bolster screwdriver has an 8mm flared tip and a 175mm blade, giving a useful balance of control and reach for general-purpose work. The chrome vanadium steel bar resists bending and snapping, and the tip is hardened and precision-machined for a good fit in the fastener head. The tri-material handle has an inner core moulded directly to the blade tang, with a polypropylene outer and TPR overlay for grip and comfort. Its large diameter helps with torque transmission, while the tapered waist suits fast, low-torque tightening. A hexagonal bolster allows an open-end spanner to be used for extra torque, and colour coding with icon identification helps with quick recognition of tip pattern and size.
