This 40mm bi-metal holesaw from Faithfull is suited to plumbing, electrical and general construction work, such as drilling for waste pipes, larger electrical boxes and other fixtures. It is made from bi-metal with 8% cobalt content, giving good heat and wear resistance for a longer working life.
The precision-set teeth allow aggressive material penetration with efficient swarf clearance, giving a smooth, fast cutting action through both thin and thick gauge materials. It cuts stainless steel, steel, aluminium, sheet metal, mild metal, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, soft and hard woods, and PVC.
Cutting depth is 38mm, with an overall diameter of 40mm. It is suitable for use with most variable speed power drills.
