About this product
This 83mm bi-metal hole saw is suited to plumbing installations, ventilation work and larger electrical applications, such as drilling for waste pipes, extractor fans, ventilation grilles and electrical boxes. It is made from bi-metal with 8% cobalt content, giving increased heat and wear resistance for a longer working life, and has a cutting depth of 38mm.
Precision-set teeth allow aggressive penetration with efficient swarf clearance, giving a smooth, fast cutting action across thin and thick gauge materials. It cuts stainless steel, steel, aluminium, sheet metal, mild metal, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, soft and hard woods, and PVC, and is suitable for use with most variable speed power drills.
