About this product
This is a 27mm bi-metal holesaw designed for use with battery-operated power tools. It is built with hardened, heat and abrasion resisting high speed steel teeth set in a tough alloy body and cap, giving strength, durability and resistance to shattering. Constant pitch teeth, at 8 teeth per 25mm/inch, provide a smooth cut, and the design is said to cut twice as many holes per battery charge compared with a standard holesaw. It is suitable for cutting stainless, tool and mild steel sheeting, plasterboard, wood and thin plastics. The holesaw comes as a complete assembly including arbor and pilot drill, so no separate purchase is needed. A flared base cap acts as a safety stop, limiting the cutting depth to 13mm (1/2 inch) and preventing drilling beyond the maximum depth.
