About this product
This is a 35mm Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) hole saw from Starrett, designed for fast, heat-free cutting of non-metallic materials such as wood, MDF, plastics, plasterboard and ceramic wall tiles. Its aggressive tooth set is said to cut up to five times faster than a bi-metal hole saw, while remaining suitable for use in both mains and battery powered tools.
The carbide tipped teeth are built for durability and a smooth finish with minimal heat build-up. It has a cutting depth of 54mm (2 1/8in), which allows it to cut through strapping and joists as well as thinner materials. Suited to construction, installation and DIY use alike.
