About this product
This Starrett TCT Fast Cut Multi Purpose Holesaw has tungsten carbide tipped teeth with a distinctive tooth set for aggressive, heat-free cutting of non-metallic materials. It is designed for construction, installation and DIY use, cutting through wood, MDF, plastics, plasterboard and ceramic wall tiles, and can also cope with building bricks.
The 44mm diameter saw offers a cutting depth of 54mm (2 1/8"), which allows it to cut through strapping and joists. It produces a smooth cut with minimal heat build-up and is suitable for use in both mains and battery powered tools. The carbide tipped teeth are intended to give strong cutting performance and durability over time. Special arbors with extended length pilot drills are available separately.
