About this product
This 48mm Starrett Multi Purpose holesaw has tungsten carbide tipped teeth designed for fast, heat-free cutting of non-metallic materials such as wood, MDF, plastics, plasterboard and ceramic wall tiles. It offers a cutting depth of 54mm, deep enough for use through strapping and joists, and is said to cut up to five times faster than a bi-metal holesaw while giving a smooth finish with minimal heat build-up.
Suitable for use in both mains and battery powered tools, it is aimed at construction and installation engineers as well as DIY users. Extended-length pilot drill arbors are available separately.
