About this product
This 64mm Starrett multi purpose hole saw has tungsten carbide tipped teeth designed for fast, heat-free cutting of non-metallic materials such as wood, MDF, plastics, plasterboard and ceramic wall tiles. The aggressive tooth set gives rapid stock removal, cutting several times faster than a bi-metal hole saw while producing a smooth finish with minimal heat build-up.
It has a cutting depth of 54mm, enough to cut through strapping and joists, and is suitable for use in both mains and battery powered tools. It suits construction and installation work as well as general DIY use. A thread size of 5/8-18" is fitted, and extended-length pilot drill arbors are available separately.
