This Starrett MPH0458 is a Tungsten Carbide Tipped multi-purpose hole saw with a 118mm diameter, designed for fast, heat-free cutting of non-metallic materials such as wood, MDF, plastics and ceramic wall tiles. It suits both construction and installation work as well as DIY use, offering a cutting depth of 54mm, enough for cutting through strapping and joists.
The carbide tipped teeth give strong cutting performance and durability, producing a smooth cut with minimal heat build-up. It is suitable for use in mains and battery powered tools, and special arbors with extended pilot drills are available separately.
