About this product
This Starrett TCT holesaw is designed for cutting stainless and high alloy steels, non-ferrous light metals and reinforced fabrics, working at much faster speeds than a conventional bi-metal holesaw. It is suited to production cutting and to drills with limited speed control, and is recommended for cutting sheet metal up to 3mm thick.
It features tungsten carbide tipped teeth with a positive cutting angle for efficient chip and swarf removal, giving good tool life. The one-piece construction includes a complete assembly with arbor and pilot drill. A split-point drill bit gives faster penetration and self-centring, helping to prevent the bit wandering, while a fitted ejector spring allows easy removal of the cut core.
