About this product
This is a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) holesaw designed for cutting stainless and high alloy steels, non-ferrous light metals and reinforced fabrics, at faster speeds than a conventional bi-metal holesaw allows. It suits production cutting and is particularly useful with drills that have limited speed control.
The carbide tipped teeth give a positive cutting angle for efficient chip and swarf removal and longer tool life. It is a one-piece assembly complete with arbor and pilot drill, and the pilot has a split point for faster penetration and self-centring to prevent wandering. An ejector spring aids easy core removal, and a safety stop at the base limits the cutting depth.
Recommended for cutting sheet metal up to around 3mm thick.
