The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (40mm) is designed for professional hole cutting across wood, plastics and metals, including stainless and mild steel sheet and tubes with wall thickness up to 3mm. It features bi-metal construction, with high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body for durability, and a variable pitch tooth design (5.5 TPI/25mm) that reduces vibration and improves heat and wear resistance compared with constant pitch saws.
Cutting depth is 41mm, and the holesaw fits standard arbors, giving a fast, clean cutting action with extended tool life.
