The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (70mm) is designed for tradespeople needing reliable hole cutting across wood, plastics and metals. It uses bi-metal construction, with high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability under demanding use and fitting standard arbors.
The variable pitch tooth design, with a 5.5 TPI/25mm form, reduces vibration and improves heat and wear resistance, offering a smoother, faster cut than earlier constant pitch saws. It's particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and can cut tubes with wall thickness up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm.
