The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (79mm) is designed for tradespeople needing reliable, fast hole cutting across a range of materials including wood, plastics and metals. Its bi-metal construction uses high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability in demanding applications and extended tool life compared with constant pitch saws.
The variable pitch tooth design, with a 5.5 TPI/25mm tooth form, reduces vibration and offers improved heat and wear resistance for a smoother, faster cut. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and can cut through tubes with a wall thickness of up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm, and the saw fits standard arbors.
