The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (102mm) is designed for tradespeople needing reliable hole cutting in wood, plastics and metals. Its bi-metal construction combines high-speed steel teeth, electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability suited to demanding use, and it fits standard arbors.
The variable pitch tooth design (5.5 TPI/25mm) reduces vibration and provides a smoother, faster cut than earlier constant-pitch saws, with improved tooth material offering better heat and wear resistance and longer life. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and can cut tubes with wall thickness up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm.
