About this product
A lightweight 40 watt soldering iron suited to general and fine soldering work, striking a balance between heating power and control. It's well suited to hobby projects such as circuit boards, jewellery and models, as well as electrical repairs, and for soft soldering brass, copper and other metal alloys.
The iron has a heat-resistant handle for comfortable use and reaches working temperature quickly. It comes with a metal holder so the hot iron can be rested safely between uses, and is fitted with a 13 amp plug for UK mains operation at 230/240V.
