About this product
The Weller Pyropen Junior is a cordless, butane-powered mini soldering iron aimed at tradespeople and electronics workers needing portable precision soldering without mains power. It features push-button piezo self-ignition for instant, reliable starting on site.
Supplied with a 0.5mm tapered long-life needle soldering tip for fine detail work, plus a hot air nozzle useful for shrinking heat-shrink tubing. Temperature is adjusted by varying the butane gas flow, giving control up to a maximum of 500°C.
The built-in gas reservoir provides around one hour of continuous operation per fill, using PGR1 refill gas. An aluminium protective cap with integrated pocket clip is included for safe storage and portability between jobs.
