About this product
The Makita LS1040N is a 260mm mitre saw designed for accurate cross-cutting and mitring of timber. It is an upgraded version of an earlier model, with a more rigid body for improved cutting accuracy, a wider sub fence for stable material support, and a more efficient built-in dust collection system. Bevel cuts are supported to the left only.
It runs on a 1650W motor with a no load speed of 4600rpm, and includes an electric brake and double insulation for added safety. Maximum mitre and bevel range is 45-90°, with a maximum mitre cut of 90.5 x 95mm at 90° and 48 x 95mm at 45°. Bore diameter is 30mm and net weight is 12.4kg.
Supplied with a carbide-tipped wood blade, vertical vice, dust bag, holder set and triangular rule.
