About this product

Ring shank stick nails for use with Stanley Bostitch wire-weld framing nailers, measuring 2.8 x 50mm and supplied in boxes of 2000. The 50mm length suits light to medium-duty framing, battening and general carpentry where a shorter fastener gives adequate holding power without excessive penetration. The wire weld collation gives the sticks rigidity and resistance to damp conditions, feeding at a 28° collation angle. Sticks hold fewer nails than coils and use a simpler feed mechanism, keeping the nailer lighter, which helps reduce fatigue when working at height. The ring shank profile makes withdrawal more difficult, giving better holding power than a smooth shank, though it needs more energy to drive. The bright finish is unprotected and the most economical option, suited to applications where corrosion resistance is not required.
